Ground Source, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company owned by Tim & Julie Dugan.  We are the largest geothermal installers in North-East Kansas.  Since 1992 we have installed over 600 geothermal systems.  We will work within a 100 mile radius of Holton, Kansas.  In 2003 we changed our business name from Bill's Electric to Ground Source, Inc. to reflect the focus of our business.

We install a variety of products. Geothermal Heat Pumps, Radiant Floor Heating for in slabs or staple up to main floors, swimming pool heaters using a geothermal unit, electric cable warm floor for bathrooms, air source heat pumps, conventional gas furnace and air conditioners, boilers.  We work with new construction and also existing houses.  Our design team takes the time with your new house plans and or your existing home to size the heating & A/C equipment to cover the needs of your home.  We do a heat load analysis on each application to figure your heating & cooling needs.  We also prepare a cost analysis so you can see the cost of operation on system of your choice.  All is provided to you Free of charge.

Ground Source, Inc. is a member of the Topeka Home Builders Association, Flint Hills Area Builders Association, and the Lawrence Home Builders Association.  We are also licensed to work in the City of Topeka, City of Manhattan and the City of Lawrence.  Tim has a Master Mechanical license allowing us to work in these areas. Our service techs are NATE certified. Ground Source, Inc. is also an IGSHPA certified geothermal installer. Tim now has received the National Association of Home Builders certified green professional designation.
